Engaged in a research project a research project examining social and behavioral aspects of boys aged 10-12 dealing with difficulties in self-control, aggravation, and aggression. Led and facilitated collaborative explorations with a small team of 6, to integrate new concepts and enhance the user experience in preparations for a pilot study.

UC Berkeley Research Team

Leading as the UI/UX Designer at N3TWORK, I worked on a match-3 puzzle game, Funko Pop! Blitz. In this role, I integrated a UX flow process between N3twork and our third party Los Angeles company, Tic Toc Games, so that we could all work together as a unified team. I designed end-to-end UX flows, revamped the look and feel of the user interface, established design systems and style guides, and managed the weekly live operations assets.

Funko Pop! Blitz

Contributed on the world’s first FDA approved digital therapeutic game, EndearvorRx. I created a user journey map and worked with scientists to ensure UX designs, game designs, and visual art assets met requirements and rulesets for digital treatment plans based on scientific data from clinical studies.

Akili Interactive

As the Lead Product Designer for a fashion game project, the team was in the very early preliminary stages, focusing on defining the art style and core gameplay loops. I designed prototypes that were used to test with our focus groups and define our overall visual treatment.

Product Discovery

Navigating as both the Lead UI/UX Designer and Illustrator on this project, I laid the groundwork for our design systems, UI art, and live operations process.

This game went through numerous iterations that required quick turnarounds for our beta testing in New Zealand. I worked across a mostly remote team in various time zones ranging from Vietnam, Sweden, Chile, and EST.

Forever Donuts

I was a 2D Illustrator at Storm8, where I created backgrounds, characters, and props for our casual games. I started transitioning from an illustrator to a designer towards the end of my 5 years at the company, and these are a few samples of UI art I created for our games.
